General

Except as otherwise noted in this Privacy Notice, Cabo Arch Adventures, with domicile referred to at the contact section below, is a data controller, which means that Cabo Arch Adventures is responsible of the management and treatment of the personal data and the information you provide, however it should not be considered a data controller. This Privacy Notice may be amended or updated from time to time to reflect changes in our practices with respect to the Processing of your information, or changes in applicable law.

Please note that this Privacy Notice only applies to the processing of Personal Information undertaken by Cabo Arch Adventures. We encourage you to read this Privacy Notice carefully, and to regularly check this page to review any changes we might make.

We may collect or otherwise process Sensitive Personal Information about race or ethnicity, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, physical or mental health, sexual preference, any actual or alleged criminal offences or penalties, or any other information that may be deemed to be sensitive (collectively, “Sensitive Personal Information”) in the ordinary course of our business except where we are explicitly given consent to support the booking process.

Save to the extent required by law, you are not obliged to provide any of your Sensitive Personal Information, and should you choose not to, this will not prevent you from purchasing any products or services (except in some jurisdictions, we will ask that you grant that consent separately).

CHILDREN

The services are not intended for use by children, especially those under 18. No one under the age of 18 should provide any Personal Information or use our public discussion areas, forums or chats. Minors under the age of 18 are not permitted to make purchases through the services or to obtain coupons or codes from the services to purchase goods or services on third party websites. If, notwithstanding these prohibitions, your children disclose information about themselves in our public discussion areas, consequences may occur that are not intended for children (for example, they may receive unsolicited messages from other parties). If it is discovered that we have collected Personal Information from someone under 18, we will delete that information immediately.

ACCOUNT INFORMATION & TRAVEL PREFERENCES

You may choose to register with us and create a personal account. If you create an account, you will allow us to tailor your search results to your own personal interests and preferences. The personal information we collect from you, if you choose to register includes: name, address, email address, preferred travel agent, password, and password reminder. The travel preference information we collect from you includes: departure state, preferred airport, destination/hobby interests, duration of stay preference, price range and seasonal preference.

You must provide a password to create an account, so your account is secure. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your passwords, User IDs, and any other account information. Our secure server encrypts all personal information so that it cannot be read as it is transmitted over the Internet.

EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS

Cabo Arch Adventures may, from time to time, send you e-mail messages regarding our product specials and services, only if you have opted-in to receive such messages. Once you have opted-in to receive e-mails from us, you may choose to opt-out of e-mail communications at any time by using the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of each email. If you are a Travel Agent, you may indicate you no longer want to receive marketing emails in your Cabo Arch Adventures account profile.

AUTOMATIC DECISION-MAKING PROCESSES

Cabo Arch Adventures does not use automatic decision-making processes. If we start using that technology to process your Personal Information in the future, we will let you know and inform you of your rights.

At any time, you can request us to delete your data but keep in mind that we might not be able to do so if there is a valid legal or business requirement to keep it.

Your information is required to provide you with products and services. Deletion or restriction of certain data may prevent us from providing the services you requested. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authorities in your location of residence.

TIME LIMIT TO RESPOND

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within 20 days. Occasionally it may take us longer than 15 days to comply with your request, if your request is particularly complex or you have made several requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

COOKIES/AUTOMATED COLLECTION OF INFORMATION AND THIRD-PARTY POLICIES

Cabo Arch Adventures currently uses "cookies" on our site. Our cookies tag each visitor's browser with a random, unique number. The cookie simply assigns a number and does not disclose any personal information about the person using the browser. By noting where these uniquely numbered browsers go on our site, we can study traffic patterns and site usage, and improve our site to better fit our customers' needs.

We may connect information collected automatically with information we already have about you in order to identify you as a Cabo Arch Adventures guest, including from third parties or service providers (for example, Google Analytics) to whom you have given permission for this purpose. This allows us to provide you with a personalized experience regardless of how you interact with us online, in store, mobile, etc.

AMENDMENT TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

Cabo Arch Adventures reserves the right to make any amendments or adjustments to this Privacy Policy. The amended policy will be published on our web site or will be sent via e-mail. Our clients will be able to verify that the policy has been amended, since will include the date of its latest actualization. All changes to this Privacy Policy will be valid and effective on the following day of its publication on our web site.
